This IP connects each device to internet by identifying the device an establishes a path to it.This IP address is not a public IP It is used by specific router manufacturers as a default gateway allowing users to type 192.168.1.1 into a web browser to access the router admin panel and change router setting.
Some simple steps to access it:-
Hey wait! Are you trying to login to the router without knowing the IP address.
If yes then verify your IP address by looking label behind the router or check the instruction guide within the retail box.
Look fong Command prompt:-r IP usi
Open Command Prompt (cmd) by clicking on start button and then type ‘ipconfig.’ When you run this command, you will see the default gateway IP of the router, and you can use the same to enter into router wifi router setup page on Android Phone or Computer. This will mostly solve 192.168.1.1 not working issue.
If this still says that you can’t reach the site when you enter 192.168.l.l, then move on to the next one.
Go for Hard reset:-
There’s a tiny black round switch at the back panel of your Router. Use a Pen or Paper-Clip to hold it down, while the router is still powered ON, for about 30 seconds. This should take the router back to Factory Default settings.
Important point :-
You will lose your Internet settings configured on the router. You need to set it up again as you did previously.
